Although we do our best to ensure information is both accurate and current, we reserve the right to make changes where appropriate. In the event of error, or change, that effects an ongoing order and pricing, we will contact you with options to continue and/or receive a partial, or full, refund.
We do not currently sell our DNA testing services to residents of New York. Universal Forensics will not accept legal responsibility for users who circumvent this restriction.
When DNA samples are collected at home, without the supervision of a qualified third-party, we cannot verify a chain of custody. Due to the lack of a chain of custody, your results may not be admissible in a court of law.
DNA test results are determined through statistical analysis. Based on the laws of probability, there is always a scientific chance that DNA testing will lead to an inconclusive result.
Unusable results exist in a small percentage of our cases. If we determine there is a problem with your DNA sample, we may ask for a replacement sample. Additional fees will apply.
We have a 60 day refund policy. If a client should change their mind and not need or wish to have a DNA test performed, a partial refund will be issued based on the level at which the analysis has been performed. Clients who order a DNA collection kit that has been shipped via any shipping service will be issued a full refund less shipping and handling, providing it is done within 60 days.
